What is your service charge?

Our service charge for a standard appliance brand in our regular service area* is $109 plus tax, which covers the technician coming out, diagnosing the problem and giving you an estimate for the repair. After the initial service charge, the diagnostic fee for each additional appliance is 50% of the original service charge. Our estimates come from the Blue Book, which is the national flat rate guide for appliance repair and the service charge is included in that estimate. A flat rate protects the customer against unpredictable hourly rates resulting from lengthy diagnostics and inexperienced technicians.

*We are happy to serve clients outside of our regular service area; however, trips requiring over 30 minutes travel time from New Bern, NC are subject to an additional $50 travel charge.

Do you really service ALL makes and models of home appliances?

YES!!! And most of them qualify for our regular service charge!

Occasionally, for certain, high end, elite or boutique appliances, extra time and training is required to diagnose them because they may be built-in or require special tools. The diagnostic fee for elite appliance types and brands is $159 and for rare boutique appliances is $209.

Does the technician carry parts on his truck?

We carry a stock of commonly used parts on our truck; however, new appliances usually have custom parts unique to their models and age, so we often have to order parts and return to complete the job. Covid-19 has impacted part supply and turnaround time for shipping, but we will do our best to keep you informed along the way. We do not charge a second service charge for the return trip. The entire repair is covered in the original estimate.

Do you offer discounts?

We proudly support our US Military service members and Law Enforcement Officers and offer a 10% discount on labor for them and their spouses. Thank you for serving our community and country!

We also offer a senior citizen discount.
