Preparing for the Holidays

With the holidays fast approaching, it's important to do a test run on your oven to make sure that your temperatures are where they're supposed to be.

This is something you can do yourself!

You can use a fancy thermometer to measure your oven temperature, which you can get on Amazon for around $15.00, or you can use a one dollar cake mix (a far cheaper and more delicious method)! Just buy the cake mix, follow the baking instructions, and if the results aren't what they are supposed to be, you may want to get your oven checked sooner rather than later.

Sometimes we have to wait for parts to arrive and we don't want to do that a week before a holiday, so prepare ahead and be sure everything checks out ahead of time.
